Paper Honeycomb Core – The paper honeycomb core is a series of hexagonal shaped cells, nested together creating a sheet when expanded approximately 95% open space. This is an exceptionally strong, rigid and lightweight core.
Paper Honeycomb Panel – This is a lightweight, tough and durable board consisting of a honeycomb core sandwiched between linerboard.
HONEYCOMB structures are structures that have the geometry of hexagonal cells, to allow the minimization of the amount of used material to reach minimal weight and minimal material cost. It is an array of hollow cells form between 3 thin verticle walls, The cells are often columner and hexagonal in shape.
